The ABS recognizes the value of  our youth  growing into fine craftsman to help carry forth the revival and appreciation of the art and craft of the forged blade. To this end ABS has introduced a youth membership program. The youth membership will cost $15 per year.  I have a membership form on my main ABS page you can print. OR, send me a email (Paul Piccola) with your mailing address and I will send you a form in the mail.

I will be starting a youth basic blade forging program in the next few months. This will be be offered at my shop in Hughes Springs, TX.  If you are under 18 years of age and interested in learning more about ABS and the forged blade please contact me for more information. The cost of the program will be the cost of the materials you use during the program. A prerequisite is the membership in the ABS youth program that will cost you $15.

I am currently in need of several Anvils, tongs and, hammers. I have three forges, but not enough anvils. These will be used in the basic forging classes.  If you have any of these items that you would be interested in loaning  for these classes please contact me so I can make arrangements to pick them up.
